A perfect way to capture memories is to have an outdoor photo shoot in a personal and beautiful setting. 

I don't have a studio and enjoy the versatility and infinite options of using different outdoor locations to make

your photo shoot personal to you.

Family shoots are an ideal way to get images of the whole family altogether - as there is usually the one person taking the photo that doesn't appear in them! I like to encourage families to play around, interact with each other and just basically  relax and be themselves, whilst I take photographs. 

I find that this makes for more candid shots and usually results in more natural and happier pictures. 

Children definitely respond better to freedom and the outdoors, without the confines and structure of a studio setting!

These photo shoots are not limited to just families.  They can be for just one child perhaps, or siblings. They are also great for friends to capture moments together, couples to get some photos to cherish and they make beautiful settings for maternity bump shoots!

Perhaps you have a club that would like some photos to be taken, or perhaps a toddler group or maybe you have a hobby you would like capturing.

All ages welcome. Every photo session is your own version of unique!

With regards to locations, I can suggest several places in the surrounding areas that are good throughout different seasons of the year, however I am always welcoming of any places and backdrops that are particularly meaningful to you. You may even wish to use your own home as a backdrop, in your garden or a doorstep shoot.  

Although sunny days make for beautiful photographs a rainy day can be equally as fun and make a great backdrop with wellie splashing, or posing under umbrellas for example! 

Don't be put off by the weather, we can make it work - however I do have a protection policy for the weather and if it is forecast poor weather you will get the opportunity to re-arrange to another date without any extra costs! 

Also keep an eye out for seasonal deals throughout the year such as Halloween Autumn and Christmas Festive shoots!

 

I would suggest dressing appropriately in suitable clothing that you'd like to be photographed in, perhaps thinking about the weather or complimenting each others attire, but ultimately it is your shoot so dress how you feel comfortable.  You may also wish to bring any props with you that you would like to feature and we can try to get them incorporated into the shoot.  A favourite teddy or toy perhaps. 

I can leave that up to you but I am equally happy to discuss ideas with you and make appropriate suggestions.

I usually work on location shoots within a 15 mile radius of Glossop and each shoot last approximately 60-75 minutes. 

​

When researching photo shoots for my family I found that prices were extortionately high and would price many people out from having the opportunity of some gorgeous memories and so I wanted to make sure that when I started my business that I made photo shoots affordable for families!

I have several packages available currently ranging from £40 to £99. 

 

Images are edited/enhanced after the shoot and they are provided to you in digital format only either by  download or email and there is an option to purchase a USB if required. You then have the rights to use the images as you like, make prints, share online etc. They are your images.

The total number of pictures you get from each shoot will vary depending on the package chosen and there is always an option to upgrade your package afterwards.
